Ik heb contact gehad met een medewerker die er verder in gedoken is en mij de volgende uitleg gegeven. Ik hoop dat jullie hier wat aan hebben.
Dear Customer,
Good day and thanks for the reply.
We have checked and found the root caused for this issue.
This model (DS214play) recommends to sync no more than 50000 files with Synology Drive, the more exceed this number, then longer time the index performance will require, hence, slow sync and more resource.
*** Reference:
For optimal response time and performance, we recommend the following settings.
• Single-core ARM: synchronize up to 15,000 files
• Dual-core ARM: synchronize up to 50,000 files
• Dual-core Intel Atom: synchronize up to 150,000 files
• Quad-core Intel Atom: synchronize up to 200,000 files
• Intel Core-i3 and above: synchronize up to 1,000,000 files
***
If the total file numbers are more than twice size of the recommended number, it would affect the performance of Cloud Station database, e.g. the client cannot connect it, sync incorrectly or the transfer speed would be slow.
We suggest you disable the less important folders on Synology Drive > Team Folders to reduce the total file number to enhance the indexing performance as a test. That would be helped.
Our developer is still enhancing the performance of the Synology Drive, it would be updated if we have any improvement. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Sincerely,
Technical Support
Tot zover
Groet,
Marco
