"Connection closed. Server timeout."
This is what a friend of me gets when he's downloading trough ftp from my ds207. I made a account (user) for him with permission to one shared-folder. He uses SmartFTP v1.0 Build 963.
i have set the idle time for the harddisks to "none" (power menu)
My router is a zyxcel prestige 2000series and i forewarded the ports 20, 21, 80, 8080.
does anybody have had the same problem? and what is the sollution to it?
Best regards,

Franklin,
You are right. After I changed the RJ-45 calble from Synology packge content, it worked. Thanks for your suggestion to solve your product problem. I still want to say Synology had good producti design, but no quality insurance. Hope you have an eye on the quality.
