All,

When you start with 2 disks in the Cube Station,
and later add a third disk,
will you loose your data when the RAID array is converted from RAID1 to RAID5 ?

regards,
Geert

As far as we know you cannot add harddisks later without loosing your data.

Geert,

you can add harddisks later without any problem.
(eg. to create another two disk volume nect to the existing one).

If you want to change your RAID setup, thats when youy will loose data.
So, before you add disk three, backup your data.
Add the disk.
Remove the existing volume (on disk 1 and 2).
Create a new volume over the three disks.
Restore your data.

Regards,
Francis.
