Is there any news when PHP 8.0 will be supported, by package installation.

Even gekeken, maar in DSM 7 is PHP 8 niet aanwezig, dus vraag het aan Synology middels een Ticket.

While other versions that are "dead" (end of life) are still available many people are waiting for version 8 that already has it first birthday :).

Je mag toch meer van Synology verwachten, dat ze redelijk bijblijven met de huidige versie.
Maar gezien je configuratie DS2419+, zou ik docker gaan draaien met PHP 8.

En het is er. Zelfs ook voor dsm 7.0
Echter enkel via https://www.synology.com/en-global/support/download. Via package center is er (nog) niets Wel slechts 8.0 niet 8.1
