Weet niet of iemand dit is tegengekomen, maar in DSMx Virtual Machine kan een USB Stick of HDD (die in je NAS zit) niet gekoppeld worden met VMM, terwijl het wel kan met b.v. Windows Virtual Machine.
Heb hiervoor een Ticket ingelegd met als antwoorden:

Thank you for contacting the Synology support and showing interest in our products.
It will be a current limitation usb mounting on docker dsm or virtual dsm won't be available. (Docker DSM is EOL :lol:)
It will work only on other type of virtual machines (windows linux etc..)
The desired behaviour is however very interesting. I will therefore take the liberty of passing on the information so that we can develop it quickly.
On my side, I will start two procedures simultaneously:
The first one:
I will create a ticket with our project manager teams in Taiwan. I will describe the desired behaviour to them so that the procedure can be accelerated. Please note that creating this ticket will close the support ticket.
However, it is possible on your side to recreate a ticket.
The second :
In order to support the request, I will also escalate the feature request to our product manager teams in France. This will maximise the chances for the development.
Thank you again for the suggestion, it seems really appropriate and would allow a notable improvement of our products.

Your feature request of supporting USB devices in virtual DSM has been collected and will be discussed in the near future.

the integration of the features will depend on the number of customer's feedbacks, as well as the resources we have and our strategy. The more feedbacks we have from users on a feature, the stronger the possibility that it is integrated and faster. But we can not guarantee that this will be necessarily added, according to these previous points.
In order to be kept up-to-date with the new features that will be available in the future, you can subscribe to our newsletter from your Synology account.
you can also by yourself directly suggested the improvement of our feature directly on our website

Kennelijk zijn er over de hele wereld geen gebruikers die DSMx in VMM draaien en die de optie USB niet missen ?
