DS207+ blijft al dagen deze melding aangeven: Bezig met het opnieuw rangschikken van de mediabestanden...
Wat heb ik zoal geprobeerd:
- Photo station in- en uitgeschakeld
- Photo station in- en uitgeschakeld in combinatie met een reboot
- Gedeelde map verwijderd en opnieuw aangemaakt
Wie kan mij helpen, want dat indexeren gaat ten koste van de processor performance. Deze geeft continu 100% aan.

In de Engelse Synology forum wiki staat uitleg om het indexeren definitief te stoppen. Nadeel ff snel gelezen is dat oa bepaalde functies het dan niet meer doen.

Verstand van Linux werken in de shell (zwart venster met prompt name_server>) is een pre. Alvorens dit te gaan doen.

This article will guide users in how to disable the Synology Multimedia Indexing Engine. The reason why this engine is enabled is so when the administrator of a Synology Product would like to use a Multimedia Service, such as the Photo Station, or Audio Station, the files are ready for use, and ready to stream. However, for those users who are strictly needing the Synology Box for SMB and NFS access, and who wish to squeeze every single computing resource into those other services, disabling the indexing service is one method of improving performance.
Command Line Interface access is required for this modification
Please be sure to read the General Disclaimer before executing these modifications.
Please be aware of the following, disabling the Multimedia Index Engine will disable (or cause abnormal behavior) the following (but not limited to) services
* Audio Station
* Download Station
* iTunes Media Streaming
* PhotoStation + (Pictures, Video, Blog)
* Surveillance Station
* UPnP DMA Media Streaming
* Xbox360/PS3 Media Streaming
To disable services
/usr/syno/etc/rc.d/S66synoindexd.sh stop
/usr/syno/etc/rc.d/S20pgsql.sh stop
To prevent services from starting during boot
Add a "exit" in the second line of each Sxxxxx.sh file

Probleem is opgelost. Niet op de manier zoals hierboven is beschreven, maar heb de nas lompweg uitgezet door de voeding los te koppelen. Daarna weer aangezet en gelijk op de resetknop gedrukt. Het duurde even voor de nas weer online was. Het indexeren is iig gestopt en cpu-gebruik zit nu op een gemiddelde van 45-50%.
Dit draadje kan wat mij betreft gesloten worden.
