Compatibility & Installation
Synology Photos 1.8.1 requires DSM 7.2 and above.
Bug Fixed
Fixed an issue where face recognition failed to function properly for some users.
Fixed an issue in version 1.8.0 where videos moved from Personal Space to Shared Space might not display properly in Timeline View.
Fixed an issue where the Synology Photos web portal might get stuck at the repairing status after updating to version 1.8.0 when the Synology NAS has a large number of user accounts.
Fixed an issue where identical folder names might interrupt backup.
Fixed an issue where Hyper Backup was unable to properly back up and restore settings of album covers. This fix will apply to backup tasks created after updating the package to this version or above.
Fixed an issue where new photos might not be automatically added to conditional albums sourced from Shared Space.
Fixed an issue where downloading items from shared albums might cause an error.
This version is released in a staged rollout.
