Heb op het engelse forum al een flink aantal posts gezien over problemen met 0839 (& 0844). Zelf ondervind ik ook een flinke lijst met issues, ter info:
-) Photo station is unavailable, I get the error "Unable to connect to PostgreSQL server
-) My local back-ups are not working anymore, in the logging is noted: "failed to access local backup configure file". It took me a few days to notice that, since I didn't got an error mail inh stead of the normal mails.
-) I cant't start the service "Downloadservice" I get an error (sorry, in Dutch...) with code 236
-) While trying to change the language of my DS into Dutch in order to get the proper english message, I also get an error message saying that the action failed (error code 84)
Now I start to wander around in my DS, I find more...
-) Audio station: library is completely empty
-) Surveillance station: no camera's anymore, can't add one
Update: I am getting nervous...
Back at home, I noticed my DS was not visible in my network anymore, could only reach is through the webserver (Synology Assistent could see it, but was not able to connect, for example for mapsharing). So, awaiting response of Synology, I decided simply to restart the thing. Bad idea. Now Synology Assistent finds a unconfigured DS (and I can't configure it, it results in error code 5), and through the webserver I can still login, but most of my settings are gone. Worse, all my directories are gone, I can't reach my data now anymore...
Waiting desperately for Synology to contact me now...
Hopelijk gaat het om uitzonderingen...

Ik heb sinds vanmiddag 0844 zonder problemen draaien. Maar ik gebruik mijn DS 207+ eigenlijk ook alleen als file server.
