Can anybody help me?

I have overwritten a file by accident. There was no recycle bin present and afterwards enabling recycle bin did not work.

How can I recover a overwritten file.

If you have overwritten it there is no way back. If you only had deleted it there might have been a small chance of recovery.
That is why I am always telling people on this board that they should make backups of the NAS.

Of course I made a back-up but there is time between the back-up and the overwritten file-date. I could expect a answer similar as you wrote. I was hoping somebody knew a work-around.
