Systeemslaapstand

Heb een DS413 met dsm 4.1

nu heb ik de hdd's ingesteld dat ze na 1 uur in slaapstand gaan

en aangevinkt dat de systeemslaapstand 60 seconden na de hdd's .

maar als ik kijk naar de NAS zelf, dan brand het bovenste groene ledje aan en uit traag.

De ventilatoren draaien nog wel? Ik dacht dat deze ook stil gingen liggen of moet je ze hiervoor via "Power" op 'energiemodus' plaatsen?

Je instelling voor de zgn. "Deep sleep" is goed. Als alleen het groene ledje traag knippert dan zijn alleen de HDD's in slaap een lopen de vents nog. 60 sec. daarna moet ook de syno zelf in slaap gaan (incl. de vents). Dat zie je dan door het langzaam aan en uitgaan van de blauwe led.

Ik had met mijn DS413 het probleem dat ie ieder kwartier weer uit de slaapstand kwam. Misschien is dat bij jou ook het geval.

En opgelost?

In t begin ging het hier ook goed, zag de blauwe led bovenaan lichtjes aan & uit, nu lukt t niet meer.

Nu es getest met 10 min hdd en 60 sec systemslaapstand. Zou het kunnen zijn door de extra packages te installeren dat ie niet meer in slaapstand gaat?

Bij mij is het opgelost door wel een vast IP-adres in te stellen in de syno maar in de router dit adres niet als "static lease" op te nemen. Dat laatste veroorzaakte bij mij dat de syno ieder kwartier werd gewekt.

Het installeren van packages op zich heeft geen effect op de slaapstand maar bepaalde, gestarte packages en services kunnen er wel voor zorgen dat je syno niet gaat slapen. Zie hiervoor een lijst van Synology Support die ik ergens in dit topic heb geplaatst:

Hier nog niet. Vroeger ging die wel in slaapstand maar nadat ik wat packagescheb geinstalleerd wilt ie niet meer. Weet niet of het daaraan ligt maar toch gaat ie na de opgesteld tijd niet in slaapstand. Kan ik zien wat hem (nog) wakker maakt? Of wat hem er van weerhoud om in slaapstand te gaan?

Wat betreft de draaiende fans. In een reactie op het engelstalig forum word uitgelegd dat ook in systeem slaapstand de boel gekoeld moet worden, betekent dus dat de fans draaien.

Mijn ds213+ (vergelijkbaar met de jouw 4 bay nas) gaat wel in hdd hibernation en daarna systeem slaapstand. Alleen word deze er ook binnen 20-25 minuten uitgehaald. Ik heb alle log bestanden op een USB stick, alsmede de backhole. Dit komt door de periodieke scans van CP, HP, SB, AS, etc. Ik denk dat als ik hier een schema voor zou maken, bijvoorbeeld ze scannen alleen tussen 13.00 en 14.00, dat het ook gaat werken. Maar gezien het feit dat ik WD red schijven heb en ik zeer binnenkort ook de Surveillance Station app ga gebruiken ga ik me hier niet meer in verdiepen en heb ik de hibernation / systeem stand uit geschakeld. Maar wellicht dat het jullie wel kan helpen.

Dus maw sb, hp, cp ea zorgen ervoor dat de nas niet of terug wakker gemaakt word? Als je deze nu allemaal zou stopzetten (niet verwijderen) zou deze niet meer periodiek scannen en zou ie wel in (systeem)slaapstand gaan? Het is wel zo als ik me goed herinner dat ie in slaapstand ging voor ik al die packages had geinstalleerd..

In mijn geval zorgde deze packages voor deze problemen. Ik zou zeggen probeer het eens uit. Wat betreft het maken van een schema. Het grote nadeel is dat je in geen packages, behalve CP-server, een specefieke tijd kan instellen dat ze scannen. Alleen om de zoveel minuten. Je zou dan in kunnen stellen dat je server om 6.55 afsluit en om 7.00 herstart, alle tellers staan dan op nul. Laat je SB starten na 360 minuten, HP na 365 minuten, etc. Dus niet alles te gelijkertijd om overbelasting van je systeem te voorkomen. Je zou eventueel hierna weer een herstart kunnen doen om de tellers weer op nul te krijgen. Als je dan nog het 3rd party package "Advanced power management" gebruikt kan je ook nog eens instellen dat als je download of bijvoorbeeld streamt naar je media player, er geen herstart is. Niet in de praktijk toe gepast dus maar volgens mij zou dit wel moeten werken.

Ok nu knippert het Groene ledje langzaam aan en uit zonder iets te veranderen. Maar na 60 sec en nu na uur nog steeds geen blauw ledje dus maw hdds in slaapstand, systeem niet. Hoe kan ik nu weten waarom dit niet gebeurt?

De log maar ik geraak hier jammer genoeg niets wijzer van :(. Gisteren gingen de hdds wel in slaapstand (groene licht knipperte, geen blauw na 60 sec), later gingen ze niet meer in slaapstand (dus groen vast)

Misschien raak je hier iets wijzer mee ? (wake on lan staat ook aan in synology_assistant en in dsm.

Nu heb ik es de netwerkkabel die van de nas loopt naar de switch uitgetrokken en dan brand het blauwe aan/uit knop wel?!

Niet altijd want na 2de keer met netwerkkabel eruit gaat ie enkel in hdd stand. Alle packages liggen stil. Iemand een idee adh van de logs?

Niet veel, je eerste log zegt alleen dat de hdd uit hibernation komen, tweede log lees je dat de nas alles aan het opstarten is maar lees je niet wat hem wakker maakt. Althans ik lees het niet.

Wat voor schijven heb je?
