Mijn Security Advisor heeft sinds de aanschaf van mijn DS1821+ altijd foutloos gewerkt.

Support ticket: antwoord van Synology AI Support.
1. Alle suggesties nagelopen, geen issues.
- Als preffered DNS heb ik mijn UniFi router staan op 192.168.1.1 en secundair 9.9.9.9. voorgestelde DNS geprobeerd, geen resultaat.
- Ik gebruik time.google.com voor NTP.
2. debug_s/n.dat opgestuurd via support ticket.

This issue can sometimes be related to network or system configuration settings. Please try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

    Configure DNS Server:
        Go to Control Panel > Network > General.
        Tick the checkbox for Manually configure DNS server.
        Set the Preferred DNS Server to 8.8.8.8 and the Alternative DNS Server to 8.8.4.4.
        Click Apply.
    Synchronize Network Time:
        Go to Control Panel > Regional Options > Time.
        Ensure Synchronize with NTP server is enabled.
        Select a server from the dropdown menu, such as pool.ntp.org.
        Click Update Now to synchronize the time.
    Temporarily Disable IPv6:
        Go to Control Panel > Network > Network Interface.
        Select your active LAN connection and click Edit.
        Go to the IPv6 tab.
        Set IPv6 setup to Off and click OK.
    Temporarily Disable Firewall for Testing:
        Go to Control Panel > Security > Firewall.
        Untick the Enable firewall checkbox and click Apply.
        After disabling it, please try running the Security Advisor scan again. You can re-enable the firewall after the test.

After performing these steps, please try to run a scan in Security Advisor again to see if the issue is resolved.

Ik herken dit niet maar, die foutmelding, is nogal een algemene, komt vaker voor in andere situaties dus, met die foutmelding kan je helemaal niets.
Synology moet dit kunnen verklaren en oplossen zonder AI !

Over welke update gaat het eigenlijk ? Ik zie geen update van 13/09 n.l., of ik kijk niet goed (weer een dagje ouder :lol: ).

Maar, nu kijk ik op een andere NAS (in beheer) en die werkt ook niet meer :silent:
En ik weet niets van een update op die NAS (13/09).

Ik heb ook een probleem met Active Insight - aparte ticket - en dat ligt volgens Synology Support aan de servers van Synology. Ik moet gewoon afwachten totdat het weer vanzelf werkt (?) … Dat noem ik niet echt support.

Maar goed, in mijn reactie zit die NAS op DSM 7.2.2-72806 Update 4 die dus hetzelfde probleem heeft.

Ik heb een DS414 draaiend op DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 9: Security Advisor geen enkel probleem
Opn mijn DS1817+ met DSM 7.2.2-72806 Update 4: Security Advisor wil niet scannen. Zelfde foutmelding als topicstarter. !!!

Heb een herstart gedaan, maar dat helpt ook niet. Foutmelding is ook niet correct, want er is netwerkverkeer (minimaal) en processor is in rust.

Bedankt voor jullie reacties, dat bevestigd - onder voorbehoud - een Synology probleem. Las op Reddit dat iemand zijn DSM ervoor opnieuw moest installeren (?) ivm een json probleem. Daar heb ik helemaal geen verstand van.

Bedankt dat u contact heeft opgenomen met Synology Support. Dit is een geïdentificeerd probleem op onze servers dat al is opgelost, maar de patch zal pas op 20 september volledig worden uitgerold. Heb tot die tijd geduld en neem contact met me op als je beveiligingsadviseur het probleem op 21 september nog steeds ondervindt.
