Stabiliteit CS-406

Heeft iemand anders problemen met de stabiliteit?
Support heeft me al een zwaardere voeding aangeboden, maar dat verhelpt slechts een deel van de problemen

Correct, hebben dezelfde issues over de gehele wereld. Heb onderstaande naar Synology gestuurd. Let wel, dit is nadat mijn eerste Synology CS406 teruggestuurd en omgewisseld is voor een wel werkend exemplaar !

As many users I have a problem with stability of the 406. Booting up the system I always have to connect via teh Synology application (connect or manage). In this application the status is always OK, harddisks running at around 30 degrees centigrade. After 1 or 2 times connecting to the CS406 via windows explorer the connection is lost. I then cannot connect anymore without pulling the power plug on the CS406. Nothing reacts anymore. I put the synology application once in manage mode and saw that the system went into some sort of chcksum check mode which went upto around 55% and then stopped (no connection possible anymore, pull the plug only possibility).
I then upgraded to firmware 2.0.3-0430 (dated 2007-02-12) which didn't solve the issue.

I completely lost confidence in the machine, this is not the way to have your critical data protected..... Please help.

4 x maxtor 6V300F0 running at 30 degrees cent. at reported 279,48GB storage space per disk.
RAID 5 configured.
Disable jumbo frame, MTU is 1500
firmware 2.0.3-0430
